Job Title: Librarian, Adult and Teen Services

Favorite Genres: Psychological suspense, historical and literary fiction. Nordic & Scandinavian mystery series.

What I'm into right now: In anticipation of colder weather and longer nights, I've been digging into sweeping historical family sagas. The Little House Books by Laura Ingalls Wilder are still some of my favorites. On a recent road trip to visit National Parks in the Black Hills and the Badlands, my daughter and I detoured into De Smet, SD on our return home. We listened to the Little House audio books while we were on the road...lots of miles of listening. Visiting many of the actual sites  featured in these stories ( the Surveyor's House and Pa's House in Town) was a delight.

With the conclusion of the 2017 World Series (I love October baseball!) I'm looking forward to watching the second season of Stranger Things on Netflix.
