Leadership Academy

Sign up to join a cohort of up to 25 local professionals in the newly formed DGPL Leadership Academy! The Leadership Academy is a 6-month program for Downers Grove area professionals to participate in professional development, networking, and community engagement opportunities. Meetings will occur once a month, with a graduation ceremony in spring. Each session will feature a speaker from an organization that is a community anchor in Downers Grove, a possible tour of their organization, and discussion on a themed topic that relates to leadership in the workplace.

The Leadership Academy's objective is to:

  • Develop and enhance leadership skills
  • Connect professionals with current community leaders, and
  • Inform participants about the needs, services, and resources within Downers Grove
  • Advocate for the relationship between businesses, organizations, and community

9/20/19, 10/18/19, 11/15/19, 1/17/20, 2/21/20, 3/20/20, 4/17/20.
Each session will last from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
